Built in 1831, Herman Grima House (820 St.Louis) and Gallier House (1132 Royal), built in 1857, offer tours interpreting the lifestyles of New Orleanians in the 19th century. GALLIER HOUSE is an outstanding example of an accurate and comprehensive historic restoration of one of New Orleans' loveliest and time-honored landmarks. The HERMAN GRIMA HOUSE, is a handsome Federal mansion with a courtyard garden and the only horse stable and functional 1830s outdoor kitchen in the French Quarter.
