Property Description

Scattered throughout the park beneath a canopy of huge oak trees are picnic tables, a group pavilion,  playground, and comfort stations. The cool, crystal-clear waters of the Tchefuncte River a variety of fish, especially where the river meets the lake.  Crabbing in the lake and the river is also popular. 81 improved campsites & boat launch access to scenic Tchefuncte River. Visit Otis House (W-Su 9am-5pm), listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Directions

From I-12, take LA 21 (Exit 58) south to Madisonville, then travel east on LA 22. The park is one mile east of town.
