Delve into the unique culture and heritage of Louisiana at the "My Louisiana" Experience at the 13th annual Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, November 9.
Seven regions throughout the state have come together to develop this unique taste of Louisiana culture and heritage. This landmark initiative will introduce Louisiana culture to travelers from all over the world.
The Epcot® International Food and Wine Festival is the largest and longest food and wine festival in the world. The Festival was recently named one of the best food and wine festivals in the US by Forbes Magazine and Forbes Traveler.
The backdrop of the Festival is the World Showcase at Epcot® with its eleven existing country pavilions. During the six-week Festival, additional countries and regions are invited to showcase their unique selection of food, wine and entertainment. Each year, one US state is invited to showcase their culture and in 2008 Louisiana has been chosen as the presenting US state.
For more information about the Epcot® Food & Wine Festival, guests can call 407-WDW-FEST (407-939-3378) for special events and programs. Festival details can be found at www.disneyworld.com/food.
