Some of our largest casinos around the state not only offer a full range of gambling options – from hundreds of slot machines and video poker to scores of exciting table games – but also offer great ways to relax mind and body. From swimming pools and fitness centers to some of the most luxurious spas and personal care salons you could wish for, Louisiana casinos package it all.

In southwestern Louisiana, for instance, L'Auberge du Lac Casino Resort is not just a gaming center in Lake Charles, but a great place to laze by the pool or in your own cabana (while the kids enjoy the arcade). Later, a trip to Spa du Lac salon and spa may be in order. It is 8,700 square feet of pure bliss for the body and soul. Services range from specialty massages to customized facials and peels, skin care scrubs, manicures, pedicures, waxing and a menu of services for men as well. Consider a visit to Spa du Lac while your spouse or significant other is out for a round at the Contraband Bayou Golf Club.

Speaking of golf, the Coushatta Casino Resort in nearby Kinder is another good stop for people who want "gambling plus." The Koasati Pines golf course is beautiful at any time of year. Follow a morning on the course with a bit of gaming, and top it off with a massage by the resort's professional personal care staff.

Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville is another popular stop for R&R. Tamahka Trails (a three-time U.S. Open Qualifier host) is a favorite of area golfers, and Spa La Vie is your opportunity to indulge and luxuriate in between great dining and casino fun.

In New Orleans, home of the state's biggest casino, you'll find plenty of options for entertainment and pampering in and around Harrah's New Orleans Casino. Adjacent to Harrah's Hotel – which lies across the street from the casino – is famous Fulton Street, a pedestrian mall lined with dining and retail choices. Aidan Gill for Men is a must for the male visitor, particularly one who has never enjoyed a high level of pampering before. Stop by for a deluxe hot-towel shave – known as the Shave at the End of the Galaxy – and lots of other refreshing services. For professional spa services for women, just ask the concierge to arrange a half-day or so of indulgence.

If your travels take you to north Louisiana, you will certainly want to visit the casinos of Shreveport-Bossier City. This lovely gaming hub along the Red River brings together big-name casinos – Harrah's, Horseshoe, Eldorado, Boomtown and Sam's Town – along with lots of luxurious accommodations and personal services.

Check out La Spa at Eldorado Casino Resort, Sedona Spa and Salon at Horseshoe Bossier City or The Rose Spa & Fitness Center at Sam's Town Hotel & Casino for the ultimate in pampering, from hot stone massages and triple-peel facials to exotic body treatments.
