Beautiful Caney Lakes just north of Minden are a part of the Kisatchie National Forest. The upper and lower lakes are perfect for fishing, swimming, water skiing, hiking, and camping. From Minden, take LA 159 (Lewisville Rd.) to Caney Lake Road. Go 1.7 miles
