2007-08 Hunting Regulations: Area Closed (portion): Closed to all hunters EXCEPT youth deer hunters Oct. 13-14.

Deer: Archery: Oct. 1-Jan. 31, either-sex. Youth: Oct. 13-14, either-sex. On designated portion of area. Muzzleloader: Nov. 26-Dec. 2, either-sex. Firearms either-sex: Oct. 27-Nov. 25.

Small Game and Waterfowl: Same as outside EXCEPT CLOSED ONLY during youth deer hunt on designated portion and EXCEPT spring squirrel season will be open May 3-11 only, with or without dogs. Beagles allowed for rabbits and dogs allowed for squirrel hunting Jan. 1-Feb. 29. Youth Squirrel Hunt: Sept. 22-23.

Raccoon (Nighttime): Jan. 1-Feb. 29.

Unmarked Hogs: May be taken by properly licensed hunters from Oct. 1-Feb. 29.

Bird Dog Training Area: Permit required. Open all year EXCEPT CLOSED during WMA Turkey Season. Contact Minden Office for permits and information.
