Vicki Bristol is the communications manager at the New Orleans CVB and an eighth-generation New Orleanian. When she is not at work assisting media in understanding the rhythm and rhyme of New Orleans, she can be found between Napoleon and Louisiana Avenues and along Magazine Street popping into boutiques and bars with her dog Abita Amber, who is named for the hearty amber ale from St. Tammany Parish. Bristol is always up for a good New Orleans story (and the occasional Cajun Boudreaux and Thibodeaux joke). If you feel inspired by her articles and want to chime in with your stories, email her. She loves to hear about visitors’ experiences and hidden gems in the city.
