VIA I-10 W. or E.: exit Carrollton Ave 232 S. bound. Cross Claiborne and St. Charles Ave. Take a left on Leake Ave./River Rd. past Broadway, Leake Ave. turns into Magazine St. Zoo is immediately on the right. From downtown: Take Magazine St. S. away from Quarter 6 mi. Audubon Park is on the right and the Zoo is on the left. Or take the scenic route on St. Charles streetcar. Exit Audubon Park and board the free zoo shuttle.
