The Mission of the Arts and Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana is to expand, enrich, and strengthen the diverse cultural heritage of the Imperial Calcasieu region by providing assistance and support to area arts and cultural organizations and programs through its four core grant opportunities. The Council also initiates events and programs, such as the Downtown at Sundown Concert Series, the Arts & Crabs Experience, and the Spring Art Walk, in order to give residents and visitors a rich ecosystem of music, food, literature, and art in their community while helping to build a brighter cultural economy for Louisiana.
