There's only one place fans of country music should find themselves this Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28: The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Louisiana's largest city is being taken over by the stars of the country music world. Easton Corbin, Eric Paslay and Dylan Scott open the 8th annual Bayou Country Superfest on Friday, May 26, at a free concert in Champions Square, next door to the Superdome. Miranda Lambert is at the top of the ticket for Saturday, May 27, and on Sunday, May 28, Blake Shelton headlines. Other performers include mega-stars Brooks & Dunn (whose co-frontman Kix Brooks hails from Shreveport), Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and the one and only Hank Williams Jr.
The weekend's festivities will include a Fan Fest & Tailgate Party, with more country music, great food and drinks and activities from event sponsors. Fan Fest kicks off at 11 a.m. each day and is free to the public.

Bayou Country Superfest is a reserved-seating event, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Special VIP tickets that put fans right in front of the stage in an area called the Golden Horseshoe are available for Friday and Saturday concerts, and travel packages include hotel accommodations on St. Charles Avenue (conveniently located on the streetcar line), two-day festival admission, and an on-site concierge as well.
